The Ruger medallions, grips screws, and escutcheons are all in perfect shape. Both grips are perfectly fit to the gun and show some beautiful figure and grain. The factory grips on this Blackhawk are exceptional and in perfect condition. The star at the rear of the cylinder shows ZERO wear. ![]() As you can see from the pictures, both the face of the cylinder and the back of the cylinder are perfect, free from any carbon or wear. The bore in this Ruger is immaculate and perfect, just as the chambers in the cylinder are as well. For whatever reason there was no protective layer of dried oil right at those edges. The only deductions on this Blackhawk come from a couple of tiny little storage marks and just a touch of very light staining right at the edges of the hammer where the polished areas meet the blued sections. The factory gloss-blue finish rates 99% and is bright and beautiful. ![]() We had to remove the original factory oil that had dried up on it in order to take photographs, it was literally untouched for the last 40 plus years. ![]() This beautiful Ruger NM Blackhawk has the desirable 4.75" inch barrel on it and is a very handsome and well-made gun. It does come with an original owner's manual and warranty card, as well as original factory anti-rust shipping paper. Unfortunately the original box was lost and it is now paired with a period Ruger box, but not for this gun. 357 Magnum Revolver w/ 4.75" Barrel** MINTY & UNFIRED! ** SOLDÄ«ought new by the original owner in 1980 and put up into storage until now, this New Model Blackhawk is in like-new, unfired condition.
